The Elmo Stroller

We got this stroller for Olivia last summer at a yard sale, and it has provided such great fun. She is always getting in it, and I keep telling her that she is too big. Well now Brenden has decided that he will use it too. Of course Olivia just thought that was the coolest thing. She has been pushing him around the house in it. I guess it keeps them busy.

OH NO! PACI!

When I got Livy dressed today, she decided that she wanted different panties than what I got out. Well she has been getting into this habit that if she can't get high enough for what she wants, she gets the stool to her vanity. She knows which drawer her panties are in so decided to get them herself. Next thing I know she comes in the room with paci. I hid it in the drawer when we were trying to get her to give it up months ago. She said "I got my princess paci from Wal-Mart". I said "You know you can't keep that, right?", and she responded with "I want to keep it". She went back in her room with it for a few minutes, but when I came in she said "here mommy", and gave it back. This time I think I will put it in a safe place in my scrapbook closet.

SNOW!!!

We have been waiting for snow for a long time now. Each time they would talk about snow, we would get so excited, and then nothing. So of course when the weather people started talking about this "winter storm" we didn't believe them. I pretended I didn't even hear them say the word "snow". Last night it started snowing a bit. I still tried not to let myself get too excited. Well, it snowed, and snowed, and snowed. Then today it snowed again, most of the day. We ended up with atleast 8 inches. The kids have had a blast in it. The boys have been out a few times. Olivia just once, but she liked it.

The Ring

Last night Don was making some bread, and he took his wedding ring off so it wouldn't get lost in the dough or all yucky. He gave it to me to put on for safe keeping. Well today when I looked down, I realized that I still had it on. I emailed him to ask if his finger was cold, and this picture is what he sent back. These are the kinds of things that remind me that I have the best husband on the planet.

Don's office cabinet

When Don got an office job back in June, after many years of being in his car, I jumped on the idea of making him some pictures for his office. Well he decided instead of hanging the big picture of all 3 of the kids, he would make a cabinet to go around it, the picture being the door. He came up with the idea right after I gave him the picture, but has just now had the time to finish it. It is now done and I think it is awesome! I couln't get a really good picture, but I will get him to take one of it on his desk.
