Little Mommy

We were in the kitchen getting lunch ready, and Livy just starts bringing in her tea set piece by piece. After she was all done she went and got her baby to put in the highchair.

Grandma & Pau Pau came over today to celebrate Brenden's birthday. They brought Mcdonalds and a cake. Brenden was really excited.

Brenden & Mommy's Day

Brenden and Mommy got to share a special day today. It is Mothers Day and Brenden's birthday. He turned 7 years old today. I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday that I got the best Mothers Day gift ever and it has already been 7 years. He is the sweetest little boy.
To celebrate his birthday we went to Chuck E. Cheese, as we always do. We had a lot of fun. We ate lots of pizza, played lots of games, and ended with some ice cream.
After Chuck E. Cheese we went home to have cake and ice cream. Mau Mau got him the cutest little dog cake. It was made out of cup cakes. He got a robot dog that he has been wanting really bad so it could play with his robot cat.

Block Party

We have been volunteering with the Jerusalem team at our church and it has been great. We get to come up with fun things to do to go share Christ with people. Today we had a "block party" at Bayshore Apartments. This was something very close to mine and Don's heart because we lived there many years ago. Of course the kids had a blast too. We had bounce houses, hot dogs, chips, soda, popcorn, and lots of music. There was a little girl there Livy's age and she was the sweetest thing. She just kept hugging Livy. It was so cute.

Brenden's Birthday Party

Brenden was supposed to have a camping birthday party, but it just keeps raining. We decided to just have the kids over for the evening. They all had a really good time. He invited Justin from across the street, and his 2 best buddies from his class.

Transformed

This past weekend was the Transformed conference at our church. It has been a year in the making, and we were very excited for it to finally be here. Our weekend started out with dinner on Friday after everyone flew in. I was very excited to get to meet Kirk Cameron since he was my teenage heart-throb. But more than that, I am excited about what he stands for today. He is so on fire for God. Don already met everyone from Way of The Master back in September at a Transformed in Dallas so this was my chance to
get to meet them all.

the book signing Ray dropped something
on the floor so Don kneeled down to get it.
Ray said "get up, I am just a man". It was
so funny. I just had to get a picture of it.







This is me with Todd Freil. He wasn't at dinner on Friday night because his plane got in late, so I didn't get to meet him until Saturday. He is a really funny guy. I LOVE his teaching. He is the host for Way of The Master Radio. He also has some cd's and dvd's, which are very good. I had really been hoping that I would get some time to spend talking to him, and God granted that. We took him and his daughter over to the hotel before dinner on Saturday evening so they could change there clothes, and then back to the hotel after dinner. So we got lots of time to talk to him. His daughter is the sweetest thing.

After the conference on Saturday we went to dinner and back to their hotel to preview the first episode of the new season of Way of the Master. That was very cool. It was a really good episode. We can't wait to see the rest.




While we were at the hotel we grabbed a picture with Trish and her new tracts that Don made her. He made a pair for Ray, Kirk and Trish. Trish used hers Sunday when she talked to the kids at our church.













On Sunday Ray preached our
morning service. Afterwards
we got to have lunch with them
before they left for the airport.

Brenden's Field Trip

Brenden had his first field trip today. They went to Purina Farms. His best friend, Dylan was in our group so they got to spend the whole day together. They had so much fun!





They have an area with animals that you can pet. Every time
somebody would try to pet this chicken he would peck at them.
Brenden and Dylan were scared to even walk past him.

Easter!

The kids were all very excited about their baskets. They got lots

of goodies. Best of all was their Six Flags Season Passes.

This Easter was very different. When we woke up it was snowing.

The Easter Bunny just left the eggs with us so we could hide them

later that afternoon at Mau-Mau's house.

Brenden, the Best Big Brother

I think Brenden is probably the sweetest little boy there ever was. He is always quick to give hugs or cuddle up next to one of us on the couch. He is also always ready to help with anything he can. If he sees Daddy working on something he is right there ready to help, even if that is just sitting by the desk to keep Daddy company while he is doing his invoices. He also makes sure Livy is taken care of at all times. He is such a good big brother. Today was just another example of that. When he got home from school he wanted to watch a movie. When I put the DVD in he asked Livy if she wanted to watch a movie with him. Of course she jumped at the chance to spend some time with her big brother. She thinks Bug is one of the coolest things on the planet.
